Nevermind!

This blog has been a part of me for a few years now and I'm not going to make a switch! Yes, for the last almost-year now, I've been in a love hate relationship with blogging, but I want to be in love! I want to carry on and become a blogger again! I miss you guys, and I miss bloggy life! Will someone please explain to me how "following" works now? It looks like things have changed since I was on here last! xoxo tomorrow or Monday I'll start posting regularly again!

New Blog

I know I haven't blogged in a while, but I wanted to give it one last try. I feel like I have too much irrelevent past things on this blog, so I'd like to try out a new one! I'm about to work on my first entry, but it would be nice if the people who actually really followed me, would follow me on this new one & we can keep in touch! Thank you!

Life Lately

Hey everyone! I know it seems like I'm just randomly posting again, but honestly I am happy to be back. Blogging has been a part of my life for two years now and I hate the fact my laptop was either broken or my desktop's keyboard stopped working, or of course I was depressed and in a hole for a while. I claimed a few times before that I was no longer depressed. That was a lie. I wanted to be happy again and I tried, but it wasn't until recently that I began to see the light again. I'm finally finding myself again and it feels like such a relief. I miss my dad every single day and his passing was beyond hard on me, but I think something has happened and somehow he's with me at this very moment, blessing me to be okay again. I've definitely grown to accept things, I still have a way to go, but I'm better than I was.

March 1st (yesterday), I started looking for a job again. I believe I've submitted 40 applications. I have an interview at Sears Friday! I'm pretty nervous and I don't even want to work there, but a job is a job. I hope someone else calls. I mean heck, I've submitted enough applications for SOMEONE to call. 1 interview every 20 apps is fair, right? Well I do plan applying more places. Hopefully I'm a working girl again by next month.

As for school, I'm debating whether or not to take a Summer class to bring my GPA up to potentially receive financial aide again OR wait until August and just pay for four classes. I like both and ideas, but the "smart" thing might be to work on getting a job and saving money for a few months. We'll see though.

I had a really amazing day the other day. I was grocery shopping at the place I used to work and literally every where I turned somebody wanted to converse with me! Besides that being the most social I've been in months, it felt really good to see people I used to work with and be told how much they want me to come back. I want to go back! I really do. I hope they see my application. I'm so afraid of rejection or I'd go in and talk to my old manager. Maybe I will in a few weeks. I need to stop being afraid to just go for something. It's held me back from so much!

I know nobody is reading this long boring amount of words and no pictures, but that's something I've learned when I was on a blogging break: that it's my blog and although it's nice to be, it doesn't HAVE TO be reader friendly. It just has to define me.

***PS - due to all the scattered-ness of this blog and the unstable mindset I was once in, I might delete a lot of past posts once I finish my weight loss series***

Goal List Update

Hello there! It's official, I've bought a new keyboard so I'll be posting on here a little more often! I was just looking over the goal list I created at the beginning of the year and realized I've completed some of them. So let's call this my goal list update.

1.) Watch 25 movies I've never seen (7/25)

2.) Lose 30 pounds: 12 more to go!

3.) Achieve the hair color I want: Get a short choppy hair cut
I decided I would much rather grow out my natural hair color, and chop it short! I'll probably want to bleach it again when it's shorter, but for now this is what I'm gonna do!


4.) Visit NY - NYE
If things go as talked about, I'm trying to make this happen this year!!

5.) Start exercising
Ehh, once I lose a little more weight on my own with healthy eating, then I'll exercise more. Soon I'm going to start stretching more in attempts to become flexible and 30 minute walks will start once I lose 7 more lbs.

6.) Become a better person, inside and out.
I practice this every single day.

7.) Eat healthier - cut out junk food, drink only water
I bought a bunch of healthy food at the grocery story.. :) and I decided I won't be too harsh on the no soda, I'll take everything slow. I bought a case of mini diet cokes. That will be my soda when I so desperately need one.

8.) Get a part time job
I start applying everywhere March 1st - literally EVERYWHERE.

9.) Become tan again
Currently started working on this :) - I hope I have a Summers tan by the first day of Spring! 

10.) Cancel gym membership

11.) Find serenity - find myself
Finally seeing the light from the depression I was in.. I really want to continue finding that light. I feel like I'm almost there.

12.) Move out

13.) Go back to school

14.) Take care of oral health - get braces off
Hey guess what? the last time I was at the orthodontist, they said 3-4 months left of braces!!

15.) Get into the habit of waking up at 9 - sleeping by 1 (for now)
My alarm clock is on constant set for 9:00, I'll change it for earlier once 9 a.m. becomes habit.
